With the ambitious target to make Britain a ‘clean energy superpower’ by 2030, the plan is to reach net-zero carbon emissions by 2050. But is this achievable? The government’s roadmap is laid out in a 136-page plan, which Carbon Brief have condensed and analysed to explain the various steps the government plan to take.
