Cook-in-a-box Recipes

What is cooking in a box?

The technique of using thermal insulation to retain heat and cook food without the continuous use of fuel – has the potential to save 70% of energy costs associated with cooking a meal. Hay boxes have been used for this purpose for over a hundred years, whilst commercial products such as Wonderbags are widely available across Western and Southern Africa.
